Delete your account

Directly in the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your profile, your friends list, and your convoy data; the full list is in the Privacy Policy under "Signing out and deleting your account".

Does FREQ listen in? Not secretly, and the app records nothing. So that you can call hands-free in a convoy ("Call Anna"), it recognises names and commands such as "Quiet" on your phone while the radio is on — only on the device; neither audio nor text is stored or sent. Turn it off: Settings → Radio & microphone → "Call by voice". But on a convoy's radio your microphone is open until you switch to "Quiet" or mute: the radio is an open channel, not a push-to-talk key. Outside a convoy the microphone is off.

Who sees my location? Your dot on the map is seen only by the members of your running convoy. Beyond that your location goes to map, search and price services when you use them; with "friends nearby" and with speed-camera or hazard reports an entry sits in the database that other drivers can read.
